Hello there.
First off, thanks for visiting You Eatin’ Nice! My name’s Eunice (clever wordplay, huh?). A freshman at Hamilton College, I like (and try) to eat healthy. I’d identify myself as a flexitarian, eating meat-free 95% of the time (although I’ll admit that seafood is my weakness).
This blog is about my adventures as I try to be a conscious eater, and you’ll see restaurant reviews, at-home cooking adventures, and tutorial-ish things on this blog. I’ll try to keep things exciting and not post too many of the same things at once!
I love food and I believe that eating is so much more than putting food in your mouth – it’s a time of sharing, bonding, learning, and growing with the people you’re eating with.
Food is a celebration, so I would never restrict myself from eating anything; I can learn so much in the kitchen and around the dining table, it’d be a terrible shame to lose any of that knowledge.
Food, at its essence should be good for our bodies, clean for the earth, and fair to the people who grow and produce it. This is Slow Food’s motto, and something I believe wholeheartedly :)
Dear Eunice,

I would like to ask one thing…
Since you have wonderful pictures, can we use couple of umeya’s pic you took if it’s possible?
Thanks,

Thank you for visiting the Palisades Farmers Market last Saturday. I appreciated all the wonderful photos and thank you for your kind words.. I love your blog, it is so interesting and full of so many exotic and beautiful foods. Great food pics and wonderfully written! I think Asian cuisine is by far some of the most aesthetic and delicious in the world..
Cheers to good eats!

What kind of camera do you use? The pictures are gorgeous!

Posted by ani | January 10, 2012, 4:35 amHello,
on one of your entries you write about Eastern Europe. Well, I would like to tell you that it is actually a serious faux pas :)
Eastern Europe is a very loaded term in modern Europe, especially in
the context of strong Central European identity of Poland, the Czech
Republic and so on. Relegating them to Eastern Europe (confused with
the Eastern Bloc) is an embarrassing faux pas, especially if
geographically their location is west of Europe’s geographical
midpoint (in Lithuania). Relegating Central Europe to Eastern Europe
might be not a good idea.
I hope it helps :)
Posted by Bart | January 4, 2013, 10:33 pmWell, this is a map to follow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Grossgliederung_Europas-en.svg (though Central Europe should include geographically both Ukraine and Belarus)
Cheers ^^ :)
